Chowdhary Khurshid Ahmed founded the hospital “Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital” in 2017 in his area “Nangal Boota” in the name of her deceased wife. Mr. Zahid Hamid (then Central Minister) inaugurated the hospital.

Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital Welfare Society is a welfare society, the main purpose of the society is to benefit people. The hospital is providing all medical facilities since 2017 to all nearby people. The trust helps the people of the area in medical facilities, education, and in all natural disaster situations.

History

The founder of Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital Society, Chowdhary Khurshid Ahmed belongs to a small village of Nangal Boota, Tehsil Pasrur District Sialkot. This village is the last village away 40 KM of Sialkot. This village is among 15 village nearby Nala Dek. The people there are small landlords. There is no medical facility in the area. Chowdhary Khurshid Ahmed lives in Lahore with his family and children. Chowdhary Khurshid Ahmed has 4 children, all belonging to the garment business. Their mother, Sughra Khurshid died. After this, on the wish of Chowdhary Khurshid Ahmed and for the sake of the spiritual reward of their mother, a 20 beds hospital named "Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital" was founded in 2012 in the native village of Nangal Boota.

Free Eye Camps

Every year 4 eye camps are organized by the hospital in collaboration with Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital Mughalpura Lahore. A free eye camp was organized on 30-01-2022 with the collaboration of Al-Ehsan Eye Hospital. 40 operations of Glaucoma (Kala Motia) were made during the eye camp having more than 500 patients. The residents appreciated this effort of "Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital".

Interest Free Loans

Mr. Khurshid said that, as a founder of the organization, I registered my village "Nangal Boota" to an organization named "Akhuwat" providing interest free loans to the people. The head of the organization Mr. Amjad Saqib and director Mr. Izhar Hashmi helped me in the matter. The people of the village benefits from the office for their small businesses. A school is also working under the supervision of the organization. Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital Society is dominating in providing benefits to the people.

The area is situated near the top of Nala Dek, there is no medical facility nearby. 20 bed hospital was founded keeping this in the mind. The hospital provides free medical facilities to all nearby residents for the last 10 years. The hospital consists of 6 members. All members bears all expenses through their pockets. The area is situated near the Nala Dek. Flood is common during the rainy season. This trust is dominating in providing grants to flood victims. Sughra Khurshid Memorial Hospital Society every year distributes 100 ration bags and clothes to orphan children, widows and deserving people of approximately 15 villages of "Nala Dek".
